HISTORY

 

Design idea for ArtLiQ liqueurs was born in three development phases:

 

The first phase and first flavours came about as a result of an international working environment – specifically the social gathering of employees from various parts of the world outside their work time.

The international working environment and the discovery of the cultural differences between employees from Asia, America, Africa and Europe led to meeting during their free time and discovering new multi-national food and drink. The real discovery for colleagues from outside the Alpine-Mediterranean part of Europe was the Slovenian blueberry liquor. This was interesting due to its good taste and attractive appearance (with fresh blueberries inside the beverage). However, it was slightly too sweet for some tastes … therefore we refreshed the drink with fresh fruits (limes, oranges and lemons) and created an attractive, less sweet, fresh and more drinkable taste. During this period, we invented the first three new flavours, which were suitable for various multinational taste requirements:

‐ blueberry liqueur with lime

‐ blueberry liqueur with orange

‐ blueberry liqueur with lemon

 

 

The second phase gave a birth to some new flavours as part of market research.

On the Slovenian market, we discovered two attractive sister drinks to the traditional blueberry liqueur and realised that they were not offered to existing customers:

- raspberry liqueur with fresh fruits in the drink

- domestic lemon liqueur with vanilla

 

 

The third phase led to upgrading the existing traditional liqueurs of the Alpine-Mediterranean part of Europe and the extension of the existing product range with high quality and fresh liqueurs that are appropriate for all domestic and foreign tastes.

With experienced producers with a long tradition, drink examiners and the protected trade mark ArtLiQ, we created a range of attractive liqueurs, all produced using the traditional method and blended with new fresh tastes:

‐ blueberry liqueur with lime

‐ blueberry liqueur with orange

‐ blueberry liqueur with lemon

- blueberry liqueur with fresh fruits in the drink

- raspberry liqueur with fresh fruits in the drink

- domestic lemon liqueur with vanilla

 

 

The fourth phase is focused on wines. Artas d.o.o. took advantage of its good wine purchase and wine sales market know-how and established a new brand name ArtWiN.

We made use of knowledge from the hundred year tradition of the best vineyards that are geographically located in Central, Mediterranean and Southeast Europe and took hold of the advantages that the market is offering. The company is, through this approach, constantly developing and enlarging its wine assortment.
